During my internship at Studio Overlab — a creative studio founded by Marleen Ettema. I created a fictional magazine (with lorem ipsum text), inspired by and filled with projects I contributed to during this time.
For graduating from my Bachelor at Academie Artemis, I chose to embark on a deeply personal project.
Shadow always follows us; where there is light, there is shadow. This installation invites you to encounter that shadow — not as a threat, but as something that longs to be acknowledged: pain, shame, guilt, loss, silence, the unspoken, and the unseen.
The work presents a collection of images from my family archive, where shadow becomes visible, both literally and figuratively. They reveal a generational darkness: never explicitly named, yet strongly present.
Through sketches, cyanotypes, and stitching, I created a gentle intervention — a reinterpretation of what once was — where darkness is approached with softness and compassion.
By meeting shadow with curiosity and intuition, I was hoping to open a space for change, creation, healing, and reflection — both personal and collective.
For this school project, I was tasked with creating a visual identity for a classmate's fictive brand. I developed the visual identity for Lizou, a sustainable, self-produced clothing brand that reflects eco-consciousness and creativity. My design focused on capturing the brand's commitment to sustainability while expressing its unique, expressive nature.

A photo series capturing the indefinite aspects of being. Taking inspiration from the underground culture which serves as a refuge for those challenging the norm while exploring alternative forms of expression. Through movement, abstract compositions and image manipulation we venture into a landscape of estrangement. Indefinite identities is a layered translation of redefining the defined.
